I subscribed last year to 4ZZZ. I first listened to Dark Essence back in 2009, if I had to guess. This involved staying up late and texting a friend from the now defunct Brisbane Goth Forum as we discussed requests for the night.
Sadly I forgot about 4ZZZ for a number of years somehow, and when I remembered it last year I was so incredibly happy to see that it was not only still a thing, but that Josh is still the host.
I recently discovered that there is another show which adds to 4ZZZ's darker genre offering.
